  16. Version 1.1.10 of Kermit 95 for Windows 95 and Windows NT is now available as
  17. a patch to versions 1.1.7, 1.1.8, or 1.1.9.  The main purpose of this release
  18. is to correct bugs in the 1.1.9 release:

  20.  . Tall screens didn't work in Windows 95, and various other sizing problems.
  21.  . Occasional ghost cursor when logical screen width > 80.
  22.  . VT100/102 numeric keypad did not have default mappings loaded.
  23.  . Disconnections on TES32 connections when left sitting idle for too long.
  24.  . Session logs recording more data than they should have.
  25.  . A problem with the XMODEM and YMODEM autoupload sequence.
  26.  . The HOSTMDM script didn't work with user-defined modems.
  27.  . Major problems with HP terminal emulation.
  28.  . Minor problems with DG terminal emulation.

  30. Most important, a new utility is supplied for initializing PCMCIA and/or
  31. Plug-n-Play modems -- the type of modem that previously could be used by
  32. Kermit 95 only if it had first been used by Hyperterminal or Dialup
  33. Networking, due to a bug in the original release of Windows 95 that was
  34. corrected in OEM Service Release 2 (which, unfortunately, is not available to
  35. owners of original Windows 95).  The new utility, K95CINIT, can be run "by
  36. hand" or it can be run automatically when Windows is booted by adding it to
  37. your startup menu.  Instructions are given in DOCS\UPDATES.DOC, section 6.6.

  39. There are also a few other improvements:

  41.  . HPTERM, HP2621, and Wyse 60 emulation have been improved sufficiently
  42.    for use with HP-UX SAM.  Downloadable function keys are now implemented
  43.    for these terminal types, and downloadable F-key labels are supported by
  44.    a popup screen, viewable with a new Kverb, \Kfnkeys, assigned by default
  45.    to Alt-f.

  47.  . Ability to specify coloration of protected fields in emulations that
  48.    have them.

  50.  . Improved help screens on Alt-h.

  72. patches for the Alpha/NT version are not yet available.
